The programme REBECA is aimed at young researchers wanting to explore professional options beyond academia. REBECA will put them in contact with highly skilled professionals that will help them reflect about their competences, skills and career options.

Last 28th June, the Instituto Cervantes Manchester hosted a debate about “Arts, Sciences and Society” organised by the Office for Cultural and Scientific Affairs of the Spanish Embassy in London, FECYT and the Instituto Cervantes Manchester.
Last 22nd November, the debate “Science, Communication, and Society: colloquium with Goyo Jimenez and Luis Quevedo” was held in the Spanish embassy in London. The event was inaugurated by the Counsellor for Cultural and Scientific Affairs Miguel Oliveros, and was then chaired by the FECYT Science Coordinator Lorenzo Melchor.

Every November, Germany celebrates the fall of the Berlin Wall and also one of the most prestigious international events in the world: Falling Walls. Within this, the international final of Falling Walls Lab (FWLab) takes place in Berlin, a contest for young scientific talents, innovators and visionary minds.
