FECYT supports the professionalisation and internationalisation of Spanish scientific journals (ARCE). Likewise, it manages the electronic platform of the Call for Evaluation of the Scientific and Publishing Quality of Spanish Scientific Journals.

Journals that successfully complete the evaluation process obtain the FECYT Seal of Quality in recognition of scientific and publishing quality. This recognition is awarded by FECYT for a period of three years from the final decision of the corresponding call. FECYT additionally makes access to the electronic publishing management tool, stored in the Spanish Science and Technology Repository, available to journals (http://recyt.fecyt.es).
