The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) publishes the “Science in Spain 2017-2018” collection that compiles several booklets and publications with job opportunities for researchers at different career stages of tens of Spanish institutions in 2017 and 2018.

The main goal of this collection is to facilitate all the existing information for those researchers with an interest in working in science in Spain, thus contributing to an open and transparent research area.

This collection includes:

1.Researcher career path at a glance! 2nd edition

This is a complete scheme of the different researcher career stages with public and private grants that can be requested in each period to work in the public sector or in industry. The document includes links to the programme calls where wider information can be found.

2.Towards research excellence in Spain: Severo Ochoa and Maria de Maeztu centres and units of excellence. Recruitment opportunities 2017-2018

The Secretary of State of Research, Development and Innovation (SEIDI) grants the Severo Ochoa or María de Maeztu Centre or Units of Excellence Award to those Spanish institutions with acknowledged excellent research. In this brochure you can find those which will open researcher recruitment processes along the last trimester of 2017 and 2018, with specific details of some calls.

3.MSCA-Cofund Programme. Opening up new horizons for researchers. Ongoing COFUND programmes in Spain 2017-2018

The Marie Skłodowska Curie  Actions-COFUND (MSCA-COFUND) programmes are European Commission initiatives that offer additional funding for new or existing regional, national and international programmes to provide an international and intersectoral dimension to research training and career development.

Doctoral programmes as well as fellowship programmes for experienced researchers can be supported. This document compiles key information (type of candidates of the call, research areas, duration of the contract and salary) for those researchers willing to apply to any of the 16 open calls in the last quarter of 2016 and 2017.
