Friday, November 18, 2016

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Society of Spanish Researchers in Germany Society (CERFA) and the Embassy of Spain in Berlin have issued a short guide with relevant information for Spanish researchers in Germany.

The guide, which offers practical information such as housing, medical insurance, or degree homologation, dedicate some chapters to the German R&D system and the researcher career development in this country. At the end of the guide, the reader will find a few personal experiences of Spanish researchers working in Germany.

The project is part of the collaboration with the Spanish researchers associations abroad and with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Welcome Center Madrid.

In 2014, FECYT already issued a practical guide for Spanish researchers working in the United Kingdom, in collaboration with the Spanish Researchers in United Kingdom (SRUK) as well as those working in Japan.
